The "Nature Connection" Mural

In the school year 2008-9 The Donkey Mill Art Center of Holualoa and Na Kahumoku partnered up to make a statement on the outside wall of our classroom. The theme was nature connection. The Kukio community grants paid for a collaborative project between Na Kahumoku and Donkey Mill. Gerald Lucena, of Donkey Mill Art Center, was the primary adult mentor for this project and the students did the design and painting.
